math important in life?
God gave us 10 fingers and 10 toes, and thats all ya'll ever need in a normal life. Of course 2+2 is important, but who in the world, besides a select few, needs to know how to solve a triple intergration in cylindrical cordinates by hand? 
not even nasa's rocket scientists do it by hand!!!!
