One of the reasons I chose Norton AV/Internet Security is it's ability to work well with 3rd party programs. I could use McAfee for free from several different sources, but the reason I gave up McAfee years ago is because it seemed to slow things down more than Norton and I had more page fault errors with McAfee. I recommend Norton Internet Security to anyone who asks. I also haven't seen a popup
ad since I got NIS either.
