Ok, I found the old article from previous builds of the OS where boot.bmp was used, but this has never been the case for the X50v.
I am still looking for the answer, folks.
I tried splashv.exe, but I have yet to be able to copy it.
I also do not want to dump the rom, edit the rom, and reload the rom. I know there must be an easier way.
In the old days, people said that you couldnt edit the bootscreen in 2000 or XP and we found that it could be done...so pleasew don;t tell me this can't be done.
