I use SPB's Pocket Plus, Diary, Weather, Time, Full Screen Keyboard, and Tips & Tricks. Also use the free plug-ins for Pocket Plus; Folder and ToPlay.
Reasons I use SPB software: Low memory use, quality, clean integration, displays the information to me in a pleasing-to-the-eye interface, no garbage/clutter/group lines in the way, loads fast, and good support. I like their style. Compared to lots of the competiton, is easier on my budget!
Diary is customizable. You can remove the bars, the weather integration, icon sets, and how everything is displayed. The option interface is easy, and shows priviews of your changes too.
There is a lot of customization available.
Here is a 50% reduced photo of my today page, using a theme I been using for a while.
Personal information on the photo was altered before posting.
I have the Tasks added into my Schedule/Calendar, rather then placed into the task tab. (Personal preference)
View my Contacts and Notes from the Today page, this helps as I write notes on the fly, and can review the others with a mini pre-view window by tapping the note.
You can adjuyst the Diary height, so your ther Today Plug-ins don't dip below the command bar!
I use Pocket Plus tabs on the bottom. Main programs on left, system utilities next tab over, weather, Folders to show the docs in My Documents, and a media player with playlists added on the last tab.
It
fits for me.
And Time is my screen saver and alarm. Got it free via their rewards program. You get points for buying software, and you can apply these points to get free software. So far, I got Time & Full Screen Keybord free.
The Tips & Tricks has a polished Tweaks section that I use. Lots of information available, with me all the time.
Also, you can get free plug-ins from the SPB web site and skins for their programs. As well as trials that give you time to look the programs over, and use them!
PS: I heard there will be some updates to add more tabs to Diary (e-mails was one), and current conditions to Weather.
Once you find what you want, no one else's opinion matters!
