That's a load of garbage. I am running Windows XP SP2, Outlook 2003 SP 1 and I don't have any problem like that. The worse thing that happens to me is every once in a great while I get a conflict that won't resolve. I have to go to rules change it to something other then replace on item on my device, and then change it back and it works fine. Weird..but it doesn't sync all the time.
