I tried to use the built-in back-up program for WM5 the other day. Backup reported that I had almost 200GB of data to backup. (That's right Gigabytes!

) Considering that my total system memory, (RAM, ROM, and memory cards) totals only 5.2GB, I found this total to be very disconcerting.

I used MemMaid to shag out the culprit. The VOLATILE folder is about 186GB. How is that?

Anyone seen this before?

Can anyone even tell me what that folder is for?
