Outlook will use the same type of pop3 settings as your Axim does. So if you can't get hotmail set up on the axim, I don't think you will be able to get it set up with your desktop outlook either. At least not for free. They have a pay service that will give you the settings to do both your desktop and Axim if you intersted in going that route. Otherwise you have to stick with access through IE.

As for the email deleting your mail currently on your Axim, the best way to deal with that is to move it to a different folder if you want to keep it.
