Software: vxhpc [www.cam.com] or my best solution: Procomm Plus ASP script language running under Pocketdos [www.pocketdos.com]. ASP is very powerful compile script that runs flawlessly under Pocketdos. I've written quite a few scripts to control/capture data on RS-232 devices using Dell X5.
