the gx.dll library that provides gapi functionality is usually included in the firmware of your axim (in the \windows directory) and, if needed, installed by the developers install program in the same pocketpc directory as the game (e.g. - ...\program files\games\pac-man). given the file size (8704 bytes) and the availability dates, i suspect that v1.2 of gx.dll is already part of the latest firmware (a03) for the axim. someone else may be able to confirm/deny....

however, since you're posting, i'm assuming that your games aren't working and neither of the above is the case for you...there's at least two ways that should work for you.

1) copy the gx.dll file from your pc to the same directory in which your game executable resides on your axim. the gx.dll file you want is in the 'arm' sub-directory after you run the self-extracting 'gapi12.exe' file you downloaded from the microsoft site.

2) if v1.2 is in the a03 firmware, install a03 firmware update available via the dell support web site...mongo file ~27MB
