I tried out total commander today to access my archos jukebox connected to my desktop at home thru my linskys wireless router. With it along with tcpmp i was able to play my video and music files over my lan very nicely. I downloaded the trial version of resco file explorer and will try it also to compare with the tcpmp benchmarking utility. I have one question though I am at work and using another access point other than my home lan which is connected to cable internet but i cant seem to access my home computer at work ap. I am thinking it is because my home computer went into screensaver/sleep mode why I cant see it at work. Can anyone verify this? I can when I get home but that wont be for a good while. Just wondering if any1 else has already ran into this. And I was all jazzed about accessing my media while at work today oh well maybe next shift.
