I use a Dell Axim x50v ROM verison A05.......I installed GAPI v2.01a and after many hours of searching I found a new verison of PocketSNES (v1.12.201) on http://leggnet.com/emulamer/

This did the trick, I even uninstalled GAPI completely and everything ran better...the trick was finding the new PocketSNES version mentioned above.
