Hi fellow forum users,

Goal: Control my music and videos from my axim x50v. via wifi or bluetooth.
Setup: Linux workstation, running mplayer/xine or vlc.

Why: My workstation is connected to my projector, and is my home-cinema "machine" and i want to control it using my pda so that i dont need to have the keyboard infront of me, would also be fun to switch musicvideo/video from the pda without actually seeing the filelist on the projector / pc, only the pda.

I've look a little on slimbox, works fine for music, but dont think i can use that for controlling video's? :(

Possible soloution: Vnc, but is to slow, and i havent found any great vncviewers which actually resize the desktop from 1280x1024-->480x640(axim) so that gives me a LOT of scrolling.....


I've seen other threds similaer to this one, but none that can provide a soloution to my problem.



All help would be VERY appreciated.
