It's jerky b/c it's skipping frames on auto and w/o it you're getting the full frames with the slowdown. I'm afraid I can't help you out much, but I can tell you to have everything else off and run at max performance. See if you can set the music to a lower mixing rate (IE, 44khz > 11-22khz) in MONO.
I have an X30 312mhz model so I don't think mine is powerful enough to even run that.
