I am in law, and i just read the decision about michigans law school (58 pages long). And according to that, they think "by enrolling a 'critical mass' of underrepresented minority students, the law school seeks to "ensure their ability to make unique contributions to the character of the law school."
Do you think that principle doesnt apply here? Think again. The supreme court (who is a lot smarter than you) says "these benifits are not theoretical but real, as major American businesses have made clear that the skills needed in today's increasingly global marketplace can only be developed through exposure to widley diverse people, cultures, ideas, and viewpoints."
Isnt that what we aim for here? "The goal of the site was to provide a wonderful resource for myself and others to enjoy" That requires diversity, and out of the 20 members of aximsite.com's staff, it appears there is not a single african-american, hispanic or native american.
Diversity. That is the supreme court's and my reason why i should be a moderator.
