I pay ~$14 a month for 500 minutes a month to anywhere in the US (there is unlimited for $19).
The quality is amazing and I was totally blown away when I tried it for the first time. I emailed vitalk tech support and they sent me all the settings I needed for a softphone. It was not sjphone specific but was really easy to setup.
What I think I so cool about it is as long as I have wifi, no matter where I am in the world my x51v will ring when my home phone gets a call. Even if I'm in japan (not that I've been there...) people could call me like a local call to my home. Pretty cool!!!

I did look at viatalk website. Do you have to pay extra fee for softphone access feature? Like Vonage, they charge $5/month for 500 min. I tried to call their customer service but it's not available
I really wonder about how good of their services. :exc:
