When the cord is plugged into the cradle batteries charge in the cradle slot but the battery will not charge if it is connected to the x5. Either when the x5 is in the cradle or if the power cord is plugged directly into the x5, if the battery is on the x5 it will not charge. Also when I plug the cord into the x5 directly the x5 does not respond to this power source at all. I am beginning to believe that the problem is in the x5 where it connects to the power cord.

My X50v has had the same, gradually worsening glitchyness of the power connector, tonight it will not charge at all, it is at 2% power and I am so frustrated that I want to throw it in the face of Dell's CEO and watch him bleed! What the #$%@ is their problem designing such a lame connector? Make it sturdy! Argh!!!!!!!!! What do we do?
