Have had my X50v running WM5 for a little over two weeks now. So far so good, I have been lucky enough to avoid all the problems people have been experiencing. No white screen, never lost my CF card, no memory errors, no hot battery/battery drain, and almost every single application I used on 2003SE works fine on WM5.
Only problems I've had are the filesys.exe hogging resources on rare occasions, and the Microsoft bluetooth stack (which I consider to be more of a poor choice by Dell than a problem)
So far, I'm pretty happy with WM5...touch wood...
