Most programs will have an option to turn the display off. I still use WMP and if you go into the options you can add a hardware button to be use for this purpose. by default there is not one assigned. for me i reassigned the volume down to the the down button but when it is kept held down. then i used the down button as the toggle screen button. i use this all the time... works good for me.. :approve:
