Mine had a 256K memory card that was not flash, it requires a 3V lithium battery to keep the memory. I also purchased a calculus rom card, which extended more functionality and 3D graphing capabilities. This was my "Pocket PC" when I was in college.

I'm still using my 48GX with 128KB and 1MB cards as well as quite a few cards for hacking, surveying, hydraulics, and yes, the calculus card. I was one of the beta testers for the calculus card- you can find my name in the credits :)
Thanks for the skins- they are much better than the ones I was using and I prefer the 48G ROM rather than the 49G.
