One recommendation - DO NOT use Odyssey s/w with WM5.

Removing has improved my X50v:
machine performance a lot,
improved battery time,
response time on menu interactions.

Even with Processor on Power Saving results are very good.

Also, I think there is a core issue with WM5 on the X50v where it has system resource issues coming out of standby mode. If you know you are going to use your Axim for a while on the battery - change settings to keep it on - just dim display after 30 seconds. In this mode I got over 3 hours of on time and battery was still at 60%.

Hope this helps others sticking with WM5.
