All these threads just points to a few things that we all already know. WM5 is sevearly impared and although we think we find all kinds of fixes the only once who can really fix it is MS and Dell.

Agreed, however some of this is due to the differences in how the two OS's work. Some of the tweaks that i have tried since learning about them on this site have worked and others have not but some of the fundamental things like making sure that you power off wifi before turning off the pda or making sure that if the pda wakes up at midnight to do its little daily dance that it does that it cannot connect to try to sync or it won't turn off automatically, some of that has now become 'good habits'. It would be really nice if Dell/MS would fix these iritants but it doesn't appear that they will. So in my opinion it gets down to the old PC/MAC thing. You either put up with this stuff to a certain degree so that you have all of the good stuff that comes with it or you go get a Palm and lose some of the features but reduce the headaches. Either way you still have a pda that probably cost too much but at least at this point we still have that choice to make. Beta testing can be fun :rolling:
