Damn - I was afraid of that. Thanks for checking. It seems that the communication between Dell Canada and Dell USA is quite poor. Their tech support uses different systems and different databases so troubleshooting an issue with their online email system has little effect when calling support in Canada.

I created a separate thread for Canadian Dell owners. If anything updates, please post in there. Thanks again!
