I've had several hard resets that I never expected. One or two because the battery died, another because I could never get past the load screen. I just prefer to know that if something happens, I don't have to worry about it.
I have A LOT of software installed that I don't want to have to take the time to reinstall if anything happens. And I also like the fact that I if I am away from home and have a hard reset, all have to do is run the executable backup.
