It all depends on how you use your SD card in your Axim. If you use it as main storage (i.e. heavy I/O) its *possible* it *could* go wrong. If you just read data from it after populating the card via an external source (e.g. USB card reader) it won't.
Oh, and I've got stories of people saying their card hasn't gone wrong for months then suddenly going Pete Tong (wrong)
And of course I've got stories of people whose card has never gone wrong as well...
