At least 10 hard resets for me, about half planned, half unplanned. The planned ones all happened due to performance problems, usually after toying with some beta software or software that did not uninstall cleanly. Unplanned? Who knows why.
If you're happy with you're X5's performance just leave it. However, I will say that I was very surprised at the performance improvement after a hard reset on at least two occasions. I had not realized how much slower my X5 had gotten until after rebuilding it from the ground up. Maybe the performance degradation was gradual so I didn't notice...but the improvement after a hard reset a marked!
