All movies that I have converted with the software in QVGA format work perfectly both as it starts to play in Windows Media Player in the small window and also when you tap the button to view it full screen. However, all movies that I have made using the VGA option in the software play perfectly in the initial small window of media player but as soon as you try to view it full screen it crashes the PDA immediately with a black screen. I have even tried it with smaller files (30 mins or so) that are in VGA and it consistently crashes the PDA. The only way to revive the PDA is with a soft reset.
I dont know if anyone else has experience this? I am a bit disapointed as being able to watch better quality video was one of the main reasons for upgrading. I have reported it to the authors of the software too.

my advice to you is to STOP using WMplayer ... ( sucks! ) ... get this player instead . (TCPMP) .. best player out there in terms of playing anything you throw at it ! ... don't forget to download the plugins as well ...you should download the program + 4 additional plugins.

~~~ I am able to play even the REGULAR (divx/xvid ...etc) that is 700MB and normally fit on a CDR ... ( I played through the network browser BTW ;) ...like I've said ... it is the swiss army of media players :p
