No anger here. It is just that the Intel documentation on their site clearly states that the 200 MHZ bus is internal to the processor, and not external. The documents also detail all that is necessary to modify the motherboard for the PXA255 and the external bus remains at 100 MHZ, not 200 MHZ. The PXA255 does not appear to run an external bus of 200 MHZ. As far as the information from Intel goes, the Axim is hardware capable of running the PXA255 to specifications.
I was going to edit my original reply and add "never mind", but your reply arrived before I got back to the post. :D
In the past, I posted on a few forums many quotes and links from Intel's website showing that the anticipated 200 MHZ bus in relation to the PXA255 was a myth per what I had read from Intel. Does that mean that a manufacturer could not do some other modifications and acheive nice speed increases? Of course not and I still enjoy my Axim or Palm or whatever I happen to be using. No Axim Zealot here, just really interested if a manufacturer does mess with 200 MHZ on the PXA255 as I have posted so much about it.
No problems here, just was curious.
