Can anyone tell me why I need a backup now that I am on WM5 with all my programs and data in non-volatile memory and when there is a backup option built into the X51V anyway? I am sure there are good reasons but they escape me at the moment! I am a Sprite backup user on my old pocket PC just incase the battery fails but I cant really see the need for it anymore on the WM5 Axim.

WM5 protects you from not losing your data in case of power outage. However if you have a sudden hard reset then a backup is needed.
