Seems similar to ScummVM. It's a great program that lets you play those old point+click adventure games from the DOS days on a modern system. This one is for Sierra games, namely Leisure Suit Larry 2-7, Space Quest 3-6, King's Quest 4-6, Quest for Glory 1-4, and several others, as quoted from the FAQ. :)

They all used a standard engine called SCI, a script interpreter that they built their games around. And FreeSCI is a free, open source replacement engine for modern PCs...and now Pocket PCs as well as several other platforms, because obviously the originals won't run on new computers that lack full DOS compatibility.

So if you've got those old games lying around still, you can get FreeSCI, copy your game data files from those mouldy floppy disks, and enjoy your games once again!
