Price difference mainly due to x51v being a current model, while x50v is old - and also, WM5 does not run as well on x50v as on x51v by a long shot. The x51v is designed for WM5 - it has no backup battery (not needed for WM5) and an "off" mode (not possible with WM2003SE, you would lose all your data if power to RAM turned off more than 30 minutes).
I would either - stick to x50v with WM2003SE, for which it was made, or get an x51v if WM5 is your pleasure. I have used both, and honestly there is very, very little difference in day to day experience.
