Mobility Site - View Single Post - PocketDivXEncoder only encodes 30 minutes

Thanks for the responses folks, I'll get there one of these days.

I put settings to VGA output, 20 fps, video at around 33 and audio at 6, 2 passes.

At these settings, I'm supposed to get around 700 MB (I think) but only get around 50 MB or so.

Funny thing is that about a hour into the encoding, it would still say about 3 hours left to encode, then 10 mins later, it would say completed. I can play the resulting AVI file on my x50v but it plays only the first 30 minutes and stops and I still have lots of space on my desktop HD.

If I check the completion log, it says something about missing codecs and other 'error' messages, but as far as I know, I have all that's required.....maybe I need to reinstall.

I'll let it keep going and check to see if the file gets larger....
