Actually currently there currently are only two reasons to buy an x50v as far as I can tell:
- You depend on a program that currently only works in PocketPC 2003.
- You require the extended broadcom bluetooth stack. (the microsoft bluetooth stack in WM5 only really supports the serial port and dialup networking profiles, as far as I can tell. Result: forget about using audio gateways, wireless headsets, etc... for now. I can't imagine (though Ive been wrong before about evil large companies) that this situation will remain as it is.
I've read a lot in these forums and while it is true that WM5 is still a little 'beta', I think with A04 most of the evil bugs are gone, and it offers a lot of improvements. The 'small bugs' are annoying, but can be fixed with a little tinkering, after which your system will run quite dependably.
