I didn't mean to imply you were being "harsh." My first thought was simply to go a bit closer in the direction that funcube2 seemed to be seeking help, that's all. My favorable statement about the Archos stands. If I were going for a device specific audio/video entertainment platform (and could afford two devices), I don't anything out there today would come close. Especially cool is the ability to use the Archos like a Tivo that you can take with you. Plus, you don't have to worry about how many movies you can get on a 1 gig SD card like I do! :approve:

I Had an Archos for about 4 days. The unit has a gorgeous screen. However mine died three days out, simply refused to turn back on after doing a file transfer. I read various things on the net that told me this had happened to others. I was scared to exchange the unit and have this happen again out of warranty. 3 days is too short to have something die that costs $650. I liked the Archos but I had doubts on its durability
