I realised that there wasnt enough RAM to properly run the Ipaq, and since I'm usually a power user of technology, i realised that I need something that is better for the future, not adequate for now.
I really do hope its a major overhaul rather than new OS, i would really like to start buying software to use for it, and not have to upgrade in a year and buy all new software.

Where I come from, getting a more powerful machine is called an 'upgrade'. :D I'd have gone for an X50v myself, in your shoes, but hopefully you'll get lucky with the X51v and find one without a lot of the problems some of the other early-adopters here have run into (disappearing CF/SD slots, random lockups, ActiveSync always running, quick-draining batteries).
I suspect that any new releases of WM5 will be like 2003SE, which was effectively a huge bugfix/service pack, with the addition of Landscape Mode.
