The range would depend on your equipment (e.g., wifi card , etc.) and if there are any major obstacles in the way (i.e., you get better range if your router is located up high). I currently have a linksys CF card and a netgear router and I can use my Ax all over the house and outside in the backyard as well. It doesn't go beyond the property line though, and my place is not big.
