Mobility Site - View Single Post - problem with background images being grayed out

I am using an X50v running WM5 and Wisbar Advanced, I use the Gnome VGA theme and wanted to change the background I made my own background and when I change it through setting>today screen> background I get the picture I want but it looks grayed out. I tried a gif and a jpeg image..I am really stumped about it...
