Mobility Site - View Single Post - problem with background images being grayed out

Open the picture in a picture viewer (I use the one that came with my X51 but I think they all have this option) and select "Set as Today Background..." It will give you an option for setting the transparency (0 is the full image. I think the default is 50% which is what you are getting from the Today screen page).
