If you mount it correctly, it should stick pretty well. I mount mine low on the glass, with the gooseneck horizontal and very near the dashboard. The cradle then rests against the edge of the dashboard to dampen vibrations. That arrangement takes the weight off the suction cup and only uses it as a stabilizer. Actually, if the cradle extends past the edge of the dash then the gooseneck actually pushes UP on the suction cup as the cradle takes the weight.
