There is something strange with the way the file structure works in WPPC '02.
I recently got a new 256 SD card, and wanted to transfer my files from the old 32. I copied the contents of the 32 to my PC HD, and they came across intact.
When I put the new card in, I tried to copy the files (three folders, each containing several files) from the PC HD directly to the SD card using Active Sync explore. It looked like it was working as it ran through the various files, but when I went to check, the folders that were copied to the new SD card were empty.
So, I copied the files directly to my PC active sync folder, in MyDoc, and they went across fine. Then I tried to cut/paste the files to the SD card in the MyDoc folder there, and the file copying process runs like it's working, but then the folder still shows empty, and now the cut files are gone too.

I had to delete the copy-created folders from the SD card, and then re-create them on the Axim. Now they can be copied to as expected.

I would suggest that anyone trying to copy a large amount of data not try to transfer whole folders of stuff, but rather create all the folders first, and then copy the files directly. If you cut and paste, the originals might be lost for good.
