though that repair caused another problem. The back up battery(which I removed during the repair) was at 100%, now it at 0% right after the repair.

buy another battery they are less than $2.00 clean your battery contacts and make sure they are bent enough to make good connection to battery make sure there are no fingerprints on battery and do a soft reset then check level
