As far as I know, there is no fix for this in terms of Pocket Excel. If I recall well, Pocket Excel will not open any files that are password-protected on the Desktop PC. And I can affirm without any doubt that this is impossible with Excel Mobile (which is the new version of Excel included with Windows Mobile 5). With Excel Mobile, the password must first be removed with Excel on the desktop PC before it can be opened on the PPC.
