The latest version of TCPMP 0.71 with the AVC codec can play those type of videos if there not DRM encrypted.
Why dont you just get a tv tuner and record your own shows to take with you, or just use P2P. The quality will be better too (itunes video is shit at only 320x240). Why pay for something that is lower quality and which restricts its use that much. You may be able to re encode it, but is it worth the time and the subsequent decrease in quality.
