but on the positive side, Dell's built-in backup/restore utility will also backup/restore the entire device in WM5 (in WM2003 it ignored the BIS). So just be sure to back up everything you want to save before doing hard resets.

Using the Dell utility completely destroyed my ActiveSync partnership with my PC - started making duplicates, refusing to sync changes to my calendar, etc. Had to do another hard reset and start from scratch.
