The error occurs at random it seems. I will try to turn on my Axim by pressing the top button and it won't turn on. I then try to soft reset and it still won't turn on. I finally have to take out the battery and put it back in and then press the power button and then it says "Memory error detected". It then tells me to press the contacts button on the bottem, or if that doesn't work to do a hard reset. That is all I know about the errors. To answer you question...no, I have not called Dell being that I normally can't understand them and they never know what to do to fix the problem. All I really want to know is if there is a way to get the PIM data off of the memory before I erase it? Also, should I update to Windows Moblie 5 now that I have to do a hard reset? Thanks for your time.
