Two hours of Live "Chat" w/Dell reps in the Phillipines and India, along with 45 minutes of voice chat have not solved any of the issues.

Yes, I'm a former Palm user, and about a 99% chance of being a future one. This Axim sucks. Microsoft sucks. This unit is still in the alpha release stage. This should never have been inflicted upon the public. The only saving grace is that I contacted Dell in November before the 21 day return period expired, and arranged for an extension while we tried to work out these issues. A06 does not appear to have solved any of them, and the unit is considerably slower during some operations then before.

I now have a replacement unit and battery. On the next problem, it's all going back to Dell, and a Palm T|X will be its replacement.

Palm. They just work.
At least you've got SOME fixes... I've still got A01 on an X50v
