This fix works for me. I don't have a dis-appering cf card no more. The best thing is I don't have to soft reset my X51V every now and them. I was about to resurrect my Ipaq 1910 and keep the Axim just for watching DVD until I crossed this fix. Before, I have to soft reset the Axim and wait a few minutes to get it started before I can take notes. It's pretty embarrasing to pull out the Axim and wait for it to start while your co-workers were making fun out of you and started handing you a piece of paper to write notes. Those days are over!
