Well, there's (almost?) nothing I can do about the file selection dialog. It's a default dialog, so the buttons are mapped like in every other Windows dialog. The Action button is the same as the Enter key - and thus usually fires the default or currently selected button.
Maybe I could do some button remapping, like left/right for switching the dialog elements and Action for (de)selecting, but then it would be hard to leave the dialog - the menu can't be focussed by the program as for Windows it's no dialog element...
Anyway, I think setting up a playlist is a job that should be done in situations when stylus work is possible, too. And tapping the wanted directory and files is by far faster than any button work could ever be.

I see...I guess I was hoping for something like what TCPMP (great for video but kind of crappy for music) has when it comes to file selecting (see screenshot). If you have 'Selecting' activated, then the 'Action' button just highlights a track. Only after you close the window is the track added to the playlist.
Just a thought...but your program is great for music, in any case:)
