YES!
To explain. I had truble even installing the WM5 upgrade to my X50v. I read on the Dell forum site that reverting to Active Synch 3.8 would fix that. This worked and the upgrade was sucessfull. Then I followed the directions to set Active Synch to manual. This also worked as advertised. Go ahead and upgrade, apply the fix and see if you like it. If you don't you can always revert to WM2003SE.
