I don't know why everyone seems to be pointing fingers at Dell for this, but let me clear this all up. Dell cannot make a ROM update for the Axims. They do not have the ability to. All Axims are HTC devices (HTC is a Taiwanese ODM, who makes iPaqs, XDAs, Axims, etc, pretty much any Windows Mobile device actually). Only HTC has the access to the code, and the staff to make changes. All Dell can do is use the ROM provided by HTC. Dell has absolutely no documentation on the hardware, so don't even bother calling them about updates. Dell simply opted to market the X50/X50v. If you have a problem with WM5, take it up with HTC and see how that goes. For now, quit asking Dell about it.
