Ive noticed after owning 2 PPC's x5 and x30(624mhz) that PPCs are very bad audio platforms. When playing the same mp3's (128kpbs) from the ppc and from an ipod, the sound in the ipod is obviously cleaner, the silence is more silent without crackles and static, and the audio output dosent go dead and live with a tweeting sound(fixable through crossfading songs, but i dont want do that sometimes). Maybe I just started to notice these problems when i got some Shure headphones, or that the software im using is bad WMP10/betaplayer. But as a music player the ppc just dosent cut the mustard for me. Im sure one of you has got a solution for me?
